Neal Clapper

Neal Clapper is now serving as vice president and general manager of HP’s Enterprise Storage and Servers (ESS) for Asia Pacific and Japan.

Clapper will be based in Singapore and report to Balu Doraisamy, senior vice president of the Technology Solutions Group for HP Asia Pacific and Japan. She will play an integral role in driving the growth and development of ESS business in the region. This business unit contains Business Critical Systems, Industry Standard Servers, StorageWorks, ESS Infrastructure Software and Blades.

Since joining HP in 1980, Clapper has held a variety of roles at a worldwide level and within Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for HP’s Storage, Services and Software Business Units. Prior to her move to Asia Pacific, Clapper served as the vice president of Hewlett-Packard’s StorageWorks Division for EMEA. Under Clapper’s leadership HP EMEA StorageWorks enjoyed the number one market share position for over 12 consecutive quarters in a row in total disk storage, tape, and tape automation.

Clapper replaces Tony Parkinson who will taking up a new assignment within HP.


Sharat Sinha

Cisco has named Sharat Sinha as managing director for its service provider business in Asia. In this role, Sinha will manage the sales of Cisco Internet Protocol Next Generation Network (IP-NGN) solutions to service providers in Asia.

He has been with Cisco for over nine years in a range of leadership positions in technology, marketing and service provider operations. With over 15 years of experience in the service provider sector, he brings an intimate understanding of the needs and requirements of service provider customers.

Prior to joining Cisco, Sinha worked for companies such as Ericsson and VSNL, India’s leading telecommunications provider, where he served in a variety of operational positions looking after projects such as VSNL’s International Satellite Earth Station and International Gateway and the company’s Internet and Data Services in Bangalore.


Kevin Lee

Kevin Lee has joined EMC Corporation as its General Manager of Channel Sales and Partners for South Asia. He brings more than 20 years of IT experience in channel sales, marketing and entrepreneurship to the role.

In this role, Lee and his team will be responsible for bringing EMC’s portfolio of information infrastructure solutions to more customers through the company’s channel partners, expanding the company’s channel business and driving partner profitability across South Asia. In addition, Lee will also focus on the ongoing success of the EMC Velocity Partner Program that features training and enablement programs that accelerate the ease and convenience for partners to work with EMC.

Based in Singapore, Lee will report to Ron Goh, President, EMC South Asia.

Prior to joining EMC, Lee was the Asia Pacific head of Channel Sales and Marketing at Seagate Technology where he managed a network of channel partners including distributors, channel original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and resellers to grow Seagate's business in both traditional and new market segments.

He has held sales, marketing and channel leadership roles at several multi-national companies including Motorola, AT&T, Intel and Iomega. He also established two software companies in China.


Seamus Hennessy

Ruckus Wireless has appointed Seamus Hennessy as its Chief Financial Officer.

Hennessy brings significant executive leadership and more than 12 years of financial and industry experience with technology-based companies. He joins Ruckus Wireless from Aerohive Networks, Inc., where he was the Chief Financial Officer. He also held a number of financial management roles at companies such as Bubble Motion and NetScaler, guiding these companies through major growth periods.

Hennessy will have a strategic role in helping guide the fast growth of Ruckus Wireless as it moves toward profitability and aggressively expands into international markets.

One of the most diversified, pure-play wireless companies today, Ruckus Wireless manufactures and markets “Smart” Wi-Fi systems to telecom providers and enterprises globally. Its products are used for a wide-range of applications such as wireless distribution of carrier HD IPTV services within subscriber homes, indoor enterprise wireless LAN services, outdoor wireless broadband access and next generation multimedia hotspots services. To date, the Company has raised $39 million in financing from leading investors including Sequoia Capital, T-Ventures, Motorola Ventures, Sutter Hill Ventures, Investor AB and others.
