5LMFInternet Retailer Conference and Exhibition (IRCE) has announced it will be partnering with Last Mile Fulfilment Asia (LMFAsia) to deliver e-commerce expertise in a series of IRCE-led sessions at the inaugural LMFAsia trade conference in Singapore on March 19-20, 2015 at MAX Atria @ Singapore EXPO. This partnership brings together leading e-commerce expertise from across Asia to address “need-to-know” issues facing this fast-changing industry.

For more than ten years, IRCE has been the world’s largest e-commerce event, gathering industry leadership and technology providers for education and inspiration each June in Chicago. With more than 600 e-commerce solutions providers covering nearly 90% of the e-commerce market in the U.S., IRCE delivers world-class industry expertise and forums to connect 10,000 senior-level industry peers and partners from around the world.

Expanding IRCE to an even more global audience reflects recent market developments, including Asia surpassing North America as the largest e-commerce market. By partnering across the region, IRCE can rapidly spread its e-commerce expertise across Asia’s burgeoning e-commerce sector.

“IRCE is excited to partner with Last-Mile Fulfillment Asia to build on its expertise in fulfillment and education in this fast-growing e-commerce market,” said Craig Dooley, SVP of Emerald Expositions and Group Show Director of IRCE. “IRCE’s expert speakers and sessions during LMFA will directly address the issues companies face in their fulfillment ecosystem with experience and practical advice. LFMA’s commitment to quality education for its customers is matched by IRCE’s proven, industry-leading conferences focused on accelerating its customers’ growth in e-commerce with strategies and solutions - no matter their size, industry or geography.”

Though Asia Pacific’s e-commerce market is vast and growing, with B2C sales forecast to grow from US$384 million in 2013 to US$856 million by 2016, many e-commerce companies and retailers are unable to fully capitalize on the these opportunities, constrained by logistical and technological issues, particularly within the “last mile fulfilment” aspect of the supply value chain.

Within this context, SingEx Exhibitions Pte Ltd launched LMFAsia to provide an avenue for e-commerce companies and retailers to meet solution providers, examine exhibited options, and explore potential collaborative solutions to meet last mile fulfilment challenges within Asia’s developing market. With LMFAsia speakers presenting insights on specific market developments along with country-focused operating conditions, LMFAsia equips attendees with relevant knowledge, tools and ideas for tapping more effectively into the Asian e-commerce marketplace.

Mr. Lee Jeong Hoon, Assistant Director of SingEx Exhibition, stated, “LMFAsia is created to serve as a dedicated platform for the fulfilment ecosystem for the Asian markets, bringing together the e-commerce, retail, parcel and logistics industries to network and discuss fulfilment and last mile solutions. The partnership with an established e-commerce event like the IRCE will certainly create collaborative opportunities and synergies, which will help to enable key players in Asia achieve their full potential in this industry.”
