Colin is widely recognized as a leading speaker on all things mobile and the convergent digital media industry. He has either presented at, chaired, or moderated more than 150 conferences, seminars and workshops worldwide; including giving several speeches at the GSMA’s Mobile World Congress, as well as the main stage at GMIC Beijing.

Career-wise, he is a long-time online and mobile entrepreneur, whom --following his company’s M&A – has spent the last three years working with global mobile powerhouse and digital entertainment specialist InternetQ PLC, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange [AIM:INTQ] and rated as one of the World’s most successful mobile companies.

Over the years, Colin has focused extensively on the field now best described as ‘Social TV’, including mass participation SMS TV show formats such as Pop Idol and Got Talent. He has also published two peer-reviewed White Papers on mobile interactive media for the annual Broadcast Asia conference in Singapore.

In 2011, he was elected by his peers to become Chairman of MEF Asia the leading global mobile industry association based in London, and re-elected to that position at the Mobile World Congress 2014.

Colin has also been a Judge for the GSMA “Global Mobile Awards” since 2011 – and also more recently for the Asian Communication Awards held in Singapore. He has been living and working in Asia for the past twenty years & tweets regularly on industry matters.
