Dear Reader,

Welcome to Asian eMarketing, which has "Marketing Automation" as the topic of the month
this October.

Particularly in marketing, there are still many processes that could be handled more efficient-
ly in today's business environment. However, data driven marketing still seems to be a new
territory for many companies. The combination of online contacts with offline data is often in
disarray, and companies find it difficult to interact with clients on all channels.

But bear in mind that omnichannel customer engagement (which will be covered in detail in
November), as well as real-time personalization and predictive analytics, are more than just
slogans. They are a pure necessity today to vitalize customer contacts.

Relevance and response play an important role in real-time and that's why marketing auto-

mation will soon be omnipresent, since it is an intelligent approach to maximize productivity
and business success.

All depends on the optimal mix of processes, tools, content and resources, hence, keep in
mind: "You live and learn" - continuously.
