AnnouncementsBASBlockchain Association Singapore (BAS) and statutory board JTC announced a partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Under the MOU, both parties will collaborate to co-develop and cultivate a digital ecosystem of blockchain professionals, students, individuals, and companies at the Punggol Digital District (PDD).

Both parties will also leverage on each other's networks to advance industry understanding and know-how, while connecting people, ideas, and business, and promoting industry excellence through a community-centric model with the goal of developing the PDD into a regional hub for blockchain excellence.

BAS was established to facilitate collaboration between market participants and stakeholders within the regional and international blockchain ecosystem. The association aims to be an effective platform for members to engage with various stakeholders to find solutions to issues, while promoting best practices in a collaborative, open, and transparent manner.

PDD is the cornerstone of Singapore's Smart Nation ambitions where new technologies and an ecosystem of key growth sectors of the digital economy are sited. The partnership between BAS and the JTC will serve as a conduit for the development of the blockchain ecosystem, as well as enhancing the synergy between individuals, organisations, and stakeholders through ideas and businesses.

Daniel Hu joins as associate creative director in Prophet's Shanghai office where he will co-lead the design practice in China with Elaine Fok. Previously the creative director of Superunion Bangkok, Hu has over 15 years' experience and brings strong expertise in creating impactful brands as well as developing environmental graphics, wayfinding and signages.

Through the partnership, Yahoo’s omnichannel demand side platform (DSP), will be integrated into the Hivestack supply side platform (SSP), which will allow Yahoo and its clients to access Hivestack’s premium global DOOH inventory through real-time bidding (RTB) transactions via open exchange and private marketplace (PMP) deals.

Advertisers and agencies can immediately access Hivestack’s global DOOH inventory through the Yahoo DSP.

Jaedo Ryu has previously worked as the Regional Sales Manager at ftrack, a project management, production tracking and media review platform for the Asia Pacific including Australia, where he managed the whole sales process, exceeding sales targets and marketing goals. Prior to ftrack, Ryu has also worked at well-known ad-tech companies such as Yahoo, AOL, and Leadbolt where he worked closely with local advertisers and ad agencies helping them to achieve campaign goals and strategically grow their business.
