LisbonAdsWinners 1MediaBUZZ congratulates all winners of the 1st Lisbon International Advertising Festival and Ogilvy & Mathers Singapore respectively for representing Asia so impressively.

Ogilvy & Mather Singapore was recognized as Agency of the Year, won Gold and Bronze in the category ‘Branded Content’, Silver in the category ‘Craft’ and Silver in ‘Design’, all awards in the category “Mobile", which means two Gold and one Bronze award, Gold in the category “Press” and last but not least as well Gold in the category “TV”. Not to mention that Ogilvy won the Network of the Year award. What a great achievement, bringing 10 awards home!

MediaBUZZ is proud of having been chosen as the only official international media partner from Asia for the inaugural Lisbon International Advertising Festival 2016.

The festival aims to recognize the best work done in the creative field, while establishing the Portuguese capital as one of the world’s advertising hubs.

The event started off with a panel discussion on "The Future: Branded Content or Storytelling in Traditional Media?" led by Luís Silva Dias from FCB International, Ramzy Haddad from Publicis Middle East at MENA Region and Tereza Svěráková from Y&R Prague. Followed by Eva Santos from Proximity Spain, Jason Romeyko, previously from Saatchi & Saatchi Switzerland, and Sarah Barclay from J. Walter Thompson New York, who discussed the topic "Brands with a purpose or brands focused in great creativity?" While the last round of discussion was themed "How not to let a great idea die" and included Luis Silva Dias from FCB International, Frank Seiler from Jung von Matt Elbe, and Kumuda Rao from Leo Burnett Mumbai, India.

Mr. Washington Olivetto, President of the Executive Jury, who shared his expertise with all fellow colleagues and young and aspiring creatives, gave the last speech of the day, before opening the awards ceremony.

Mr. Olivetto was recognized with the Career Award, celebrating the brilliance of his career and his impressive contribution to the advertising industry.

The Young Lisbon was the first category to be awarded with bronze, silver or gold, followed by the Local Lisbons, since The Lisbon International Advertising Festival aims not only to award the best work on a global scale, but also on a regional level.
