From the beginning, Twitter has been underestimated
by many companies, focusing on Facebook and refrain-
ing from making use of Twitter's potential. Only media
companies, editors and journalists took intensive ad-
vantage of the short message service from the start.
However, this could change quickly now, because an
intensification of Twitter usage by companies is to be
expected. Some experts even believe that Twitter will
become more important than Facebook, considering
that Twitter has already made 270 million active users,
of which around 80% use the service several times a
day via their smartphones.

The Twitter ads are suitable for all companies that want
to post ads without necessarily calling in an agency.
They are very similar to Facebook Ads - a self-service
system - that can gradually and relatively simply be self-
applied.
